2. Collection and Use of Personal Information

Our site utilizes SSL-encrypted secure shopping cart software that will collect personal information from you when placing an order with us that may include:

7) credit card number and expiration and CVV2 code

We do not collect information from children, nor do we sell products to children under the age of 18.

3. Use of Personal Information

We use the personal information from the order form to send our customers information about their order's shipping status, special offer promotional materials, discount information, or company information. 4. Credit Card Security

Vivagen Health Products recognizes the importance of secure on-line transactions, and we safeguard the privacy of information provided to us through online forms. For consumer transactions submitted to us online, we use our own Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted shopping cart that encrypts the data you provide on the order form before transmission to our credit card processing company. To ensure that our transactions are always secure, we are PCI DSS certified via SecurityMetrics, one of the premier PCI compliance certification firms.

Furthermore, we use CardService International (CSI), one of the largest and most reliable credit card processors in the world, for our secure credit card processing services, to ensure reliability and security of all credit card transactions.

We also offer two alternative payment services: Paypal, a global leader in online payment solutions with 71 million account members worldwide and a subsidiary of EBAY, as an additional online payment service provider, for those who prefer this payment provider, as well as our newest service, Google Checkout. These two alternative payment services allow the buyer even greater purchase privacy, security and flexibility.

Our website uses shopping cart software provided by Ultracart, Inc., which utilizes Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL technology prevents unauthorized people from intercepting your financial data when shopping online. When using a browser, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator, that supports SSL, these browsers will show a symbol in the status bar, such as a key or lock, when you are on a site that uses SSL.

But, that's not all. We are also a member of the buySAFE Bonded Merchant Network. BuySAFE is like an online shoppers’ guardian angel. We take every possible measure to prevent credit card fraud and identity theft for our customers. This may include contacting you to verify your order information. If we are unable to verify your credit card order and have reason to believe that your order may be fraudulent, your order may be cancelled by us. In addition, we may contact local law enforcement to report suspected credit card fraud.

To increase security even further, we do not keep any copies of your credit card data on our own computers, nor do we keep or store any printed hard copies of your credit card data at our office.

Finally, our shopping cart software is NOT configured to "remember" your personal information or credit card information, so that if you place a refill order, you will have to re-enter this information each time. We hope you will agree that this additional security measure exceeds the minor inconvenience of re-entering your personal information.

5. Cookies

While we do not at present use cookies, we may choose in the future to collect information about your use of our website through the use of "cookies."
